In between the delicate relationship between poetry, form and function lies my true passion – architecture. From the towering skyscrapers that dominate city skylines to the tranquil nature retreats, I find inspiration in every facet of the built environment that surrounds me.

A LITTLE BIT MORE  ABOUT SUSAN

As someone who is passionate about delicate poetry and novels myself, I find great pleasure from finding inspiration in the intertwining link between architecture and poetry. If given the chance, I would gladly spend hours designing my own spaces inspired by my favourite poets in cozy cafes, fascinating museums, and religious buildings with marvellous architecture. I lose track of time in the stories of many architectural styles from around the globe.

Apart from my artistic side, I thrive in group settings, adjusting to different personalities in group assignments and blending in with new students with ease. Being a good listener and a good communicator, I work efficiently in groups where I can provide unique design ideas while making sure all deadlines are met with no communication problems within the members.

I'm skilled at coming up with unique concepts and providing insightful advice, so friends and family frequently ask me for my perspectives and solutions to problems.  My academic accomplishments in Foundation in Natural and Built Environments, which include a 3.80 CGPA and distinction as an excellence award achiever, indicates my commitment to architecture.

The ability for fast learning and adaptation is what makes me stand out. I self-taught myself SketchUp, Bahasa Malayu and Mandarin. In addition, I have established myself as an instructor and founded an IELTS learning community, demonstrating my ability to lead and instruct.

In terms of monetizing my skills, I see a multiple opportunities. Offering architectural consultation services or freelancing in design projects are viable options.

My ultimate direction and goal in architecture is to create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also accessible to crafting and collaboration, particularly for architecture students. By creating more working spaces such as studios paired with accessible services, facilities and reasonably priced supplies, I hope to help solve the difficulties encountered by aspiring architects. This dedication to accessibility includes inclusive design principles that accommodate a range of needs and backgrounds in addition to physical spaces. Through my work, I hope to make a meaningful impact in the architectural field that allows architects from all financial backgrounds to flourish and rise to their fullest potential.
