ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY AND THETORY

The "Architectural History and Theory" module focuses on exploring architectural developments across historical eras through group projects and modern technology. Students will research and analyze historical buildings, create an Augmented Reality (AR) presentation, and engage in detailed drawing exercises of modern architectural landmarks. This module bridges historical influences with contemporary design, enhancing students' analytical and technical skills while providing a comprehensive understanding of architecture's evolution.

Project 1
Group Report and Presentation (Group)

For this assignment, students will conduct in-depth research and architectural analysis on two selected buildings from a given historical era. The task involves creating a comprehensive A4 digital booklet that documents the heritage buildings, supported by photos, notes, and diagrams. Additionally, an A1 Augmented Reality poster will be created to visually enhance the presentation, incorporating digital elements such as the booklet, interior views, or a 3D model of the building.
